Gorgeous island but a little tired

The holiday was amazing and not the first time on this beautiful island. The house reef is fantastic. The food is fantastic and the chefs do a brilliant job every day. There long service staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful and make the stay memorable. Service was great however some junior staff require additional training in housekeeping and at the restaurant. Accommodation was beginning to look tired and in need of a lick of paint. Loungers on the beach and some of the clientele had a negative impact on our stay. Island hosts require training and provide an average service. The bars were great and the bar staff were exceptional. Entertainment was good - catered for everyone and white party night on Fridays was always memorable. There are many activities to do on the island and away from it which make this island such an appeal.

Our honeymoon at Kuredu exceeded all expectations, ranking among our most cherished travel experiences alongside our adventurous backpacking trips through Thailand and the Philippines. We were fortunate to receive a complimentary upgrade to one of the exquisite water villas, which granted us access to the exclusive Sangu restaurant. The private dining experience at Sangu was absolutely exceptional and would be worth every penny of the upgrade (thankfully we didn’t pay). While I typically prefer exploring new destinations rather than returning to the same place, Kuredu has completely won me over - it's the rare resort that I would gladly revisit!

Beautiful resort with amazingly helpful staff and no shortage of things to do and wildlife to discover. Everything is walkable but free buggy transports services are still on offer if you're getting tired, and all the food is incredible.

The resort is amazing. The water villas are a dream come true. Waking up everyday to the sounds of gentil waves breaking across the front of the villa. Sangu resort pool and restaurant are absolutely stunning. Staff is friendly and attentive. An excellent place to celebrate my engagement.

When you stay at Kuredu Island Resort in Kuredu Island, you'll be on the beach and within a 5-minute drive of Hurawalhi Beach. This beach resort is within close proximity of Kuredu Beach and Kanuhura Beach.

The Maldives, located in the Indian Ocean, are an archipelago of 1,192 coral islands grouped into 26 coral atolls. From these small islands, only 203 are populated. Kaafu is where the capital, Male, and the airport are located and it is home of most tourist resorts. The Maldives really are the dream destination it appears to be in the holiday brochures, the water really is that crystal-clear and turquoise, the sand really is that white, and the sunsets really are all the shades of red and orange you could imagine. The Maldives are famous for blissful surroundings, its excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities, its beach villas, its dark-blue sea with turquoise-colored lagoons and its exquisite food. A trip to the Maldives is always an unforgettable experience, a satisfaction for the soul and a pleasure for the eyes, crystal clear waters, tropical white sand beaches, colorful flora and untouched nature. But beware, paradise is not cheap.

This property offers transfers from the airport (surcharges may apply). To arrange pick-up, guests must contact the property 72 hours prior to arrival, using the contact information on the booking confirmation. Front desk staff will greet guests on arrival at the property. For any questions, please contact the property using the information on the booking confirmation. Guests must arrange transfers (surcharge) from Male International Airport to the property, which is 40 minutes away via seaplane. To guarantee transfers, guests must contact the property with their flight details at least 3 days before their expected arrival. Daily transfer service is offered by Trans Maldivian Airways / Maldivian Air Taxi between 6 AM and 4 PM. Guests arriving or departing outside of these hours are advised to book a local hotel room in Male or Hulhumale. Luggage in excess of 20 kg/person may incur a fee, payable to the seaplane company during flight check-in. Guests must pay the seaplane fee at checkout. The additional fee (payable at the property) covers mandatory transfer fees for guests ages 13-17.
